Shawn Sanderson,

With more than 12 years of experience in the M2M, IoT and telecommunications sectors, Shawn has worked across the globe – from San Diego to Richmond, to Bangkok and, most recently, Singapore – for major companies including HP, Sierra Wireless and Siemens. Most recently, as Head of Operator Solution Sales at Jasper Wireless in Singapore, Shawn secured expansion for an IoT connected device platform across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Having worked in many facets of IoT including manufacturing, design, solution architecture and multi communication protocols, Shawn has spent significant time with the Oil &Gas, Automotive, Transportation and Payment segments.

Mohamad Nasser,

Mohamad (Mo) Nasser is the Sr. Director of M2M Product and Marketing for the M2M Emerging Solutions group at Sprint. His team is accountable for the overall M2M Strategy, Products Management, Partner Management, Product Commercialization, Platforms and Marketing. He has over 25 years of wireless telecommunications management experience in product management, business development, strategic alliances and strategy.

Prior to Joining Sprint, Mohamad served as the Sr. Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Virgin Mobile, he also headed the CDMA Product Management at Ericsson China.  Throughout his career Mohamad held various leadership positions at companies like Siemens, MCI, GTE and Qualcomm. Mohamad holds patents in EVDO technology. He and his family of 8 children reside in the greater Los Angeles area in Southern California


Gerhard Schedler,

Head of the M2M Centre of Competence at Swisscom, Gerhard Schedler leads the development of the M2M business unit in both national and international markets.Prior joining Swisscom in 2012 , Gerhard Schedler, held the position of President & CEO, IDENTEC SOLUTIONS from 2006-2011 where he was instrumental in transforming the company from a tech start up into a global leader of active RFID and wireless solutions. Schedler was also accredited with establishing an industry alliance that ultimately lead to increased market adoption and standarization. Mr. Schedler holds both a technical degree from the University of Applied Sciences of Technology Buchs (Switzerland) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Economics in Strathclyde (Scotland).

Bernd Heinrichs,

Bernd Heinrichs has 20 years of professional experience in the high tech communications market. He was actively involved in early research on and development of TCP/IP and ATM protocols when he was with Technical University of Aachen, Germany. After that he managed several engineering projects for Ericsson. It followed a move to Cisco in 1996, where he was running different Sales, Channel, Business Development and Marketing Operations. Since August 2013 he is Managing Director for Internet of Things Sales and R&D in EMEAR.

Dr. Alexander Lautz is currently in charge of the Business Unit M2M at Deutsche Telekom AG. In this role, he is responsible for developing innovative machine-to-machine products and solutions. Mr. Lautz joined T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH in 2002, first as Head of Business Marketing, before taking over as Head of Consumer Marketing in 2004. When Deutsche Telekom launched congstar as its second brand in Germany in 2007, Mr. Lautz took over as Managing Director of the company. In 2011, he moved to the growth initiative Connected Car, where he was responsible for Marketing, Services and Technology. Before his career at Deutsche Telekom, Mr. Lautz held different management positions at CNI GmbH and Mannesmann Arcor AG and was Managing Director of an IP provider for business customers..

After serving for ten years as CMO of Telit – establishing a network of more than 30 local sales offices and 60 exclusive distributors, Mr. Hierl took the reins of the new Telit Automotive Solutions in March of 2014 – responsible for the successful integration of the ATOP division, purchased from NXP Semiconductors as well as expanding Telit’s reach into the Automotive OEM segment. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hierl was the Vice President for Business Development at SIEMENS AG, Wireless Modules, responsible for the strategy and business development of the Wireless Modules division (one of four divisions of Siemens Mobile) and a member of the management board of the division. Prior to working with SIEMENS, Mr. Hierl worked in sales at Rohde & Schwarz. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering (emphasis on digital electronics) and Industrial Engineering from Fachhochschule München.


Ludovic Le Moan,

Mr. Ludovic Le Moan co-founded SIGFOX and has been its Chief Executive Officer since December 2010. Mr. Le Moan served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Scoop.it Inc. Mr. Le Moan also served as Chief Executive Officer of Anyware Technologies SA. He started his career in scientific and business positions prior to taking over the management of COFRAMI Group (1500 people). He left the position to create Anyware Technologies. He founded GOOJET (now Scoop.it). He is also a Director of SIGFOX. Mr. Le Moan served as the Chairman of SIGFOX. Mr. Le Moan is a Engineer graduated from ENSIMAG (group Polytechnique Grenoble).

Angel David García Barrio joined Etisalat in 2014. Prior to this he was Head of Alliances at Telefónica Group, which he joined in 2001 as Head of M-Commerce at Telefónica Móviles. His department is in charge of defining the strategy and the partnerships in M2M in the whole world. Before, he worked as Business Development Manager at Ericsson Spain and Product Manager of new means of Payment in the Spanish Confederation of Saving Banks.

Rami Avidan, now head of Tele2 M2M Global Solutions, has a deep understanding of the Telco industry with a specific focus on the M2M/IoT industry where he has been involved for 15 years, primarily due to the fact that he started and ran The Wyless Group of companies for several years.He has various experiences and a deep knowledge of how to start and lead businesses and take them from A-Z. He has been been involved with 8 different businesses where he has led the “exit” of most of those, either through trade-sale, equity sell or IPO. He has been active as a board member and senior manager in both small as well as large operations and has acted in several international operations, mainly in the UK, Spain, Switzerland, Israel, Scandinavia and North America. He has a vast contact network across many nations and industries.

Robin has over 35 years experience in the telecom/IT industry. Firstly in commercial roles covering Marketing Management, Sales Management and General Management in international technology vendor companies including General Electric Company, STC/Nortel and in start-ups. Secondly in market analysis/consulting roles, including as a Director of Research at Dataquest/Gartner and as an independent consultant. He has been researching the M2M/IOT market for over a decade, since 2001, and is an internationally recognized thought leader in this area. Clients include major market players from all parts of the M2M/IOT value chain.Robin gained a BSc honours degree in Electronics, followed by an MSc in Management and Business Studies at Warwick University in the UK. He also studied at INSEAD in Fontainebleu, France.

Emmanuel Routier started his carreer in 1991 at France Telecom on the deregulated market of voice & data private networks for French major accounts. Emmanuel then worked during 11 years in wholesale business, which took him to the US for France Telecom North America and to Europe for Mobistar. He also played an active role from 2004 to 2006 in the coordination of France Telecom Group wholesales business as Wholesale Coordination Committee Officer.. He joined Mobistar in 1999, where he managed Mobistar interconnection business, then extended his responsibilities to roaming, mobile & fix wholesales business and then to Machine to Machine activity. Emmanuel is, since beginning 2009, Director Machine to Machine & Intl M2M Center. He is responsible for Mobistar Machine to Machine Business Unit and for the M2M global offer for the Orange Group.
