Dr. Uwe Kubach is a Vice President in SAP's Products and Innovation board area. He heads the global development team which is extending SAP's technology platform towards the Internet of Things. These extensions include capabilities for device management and application enablement.Dr. Kubach is a strong supporter of the Open Innovation and Design Thinking paradigms. He established two Living Labs dedicated to user-centered innovation on applications in manufacturing and retail.Before joining SAP's development organization, Dr. Kubach launched the SAP Research Center in Dresden, Germany, and grew it to one of the largest research centers within SAP.

Emmanuel Routier,

Emmanuel Routier started his carreer in 1991 at France Telecom on the deregulated market of voice & data private networks for French major accounts. Emmanuel then worked during 11 years in wholesale business, which took him to the US for France Telecom North America and to Europe for Mobistar. He also played an active role from 2004 to 2006 in the coordination of France Telecom Group wholesales business as Wholesale Coordination Committee Officer.. He joined Mobistar in 1999, where he managed Mobistar interconnection business, then extended his responsibilities to roaming, mobile & fix wholesales business and then to Machine to Machine activity. Emmanuel is, since beginning 2009, Director Machine to Machine & Intl M2M Center. He is responsible for Mobistar Machine to Machine Business Unit and for the M2M global offer for the Orange Group.
Geoffrey Morton,
Group Vice President, Worldwide Java Sale,

Geoffrey Morton is group vice president of Worldwide Java Sales for Oracle. His organization is responsible for Java technology and Berkeley Database license sales to OEM's, ODM's and Oracle partners.Mr. Morton is heavily involved in the "device to data center" platform proposition addressing the demands enterprises have in the burgeoning internet of things/M2M. He has over 30 years of expertise in software, hardware and sales. Before coming to Oracle in 2010, when the company acquired Sun, he worked at Sun for more than 15 years, where he served in several sales roles in the software organizations. Before joining Sun, he worked at IBM for more than 8 years, in enterprise sales, partner sales and business development roles.

Jürgen Hase joined Deutsche Telekom AG in 2011 to head the M2M Competence Center. Within Deutsche Telekom he is responsible for the international M2M business. Jürgen has worked more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry and in the M2M sector. He is also Chairman of the M2M alliance.

Angel David Garcia Barrio,

Angel David García Barrio joined the Telefónica Group in 2001 as Head of M-Commerce at Telefónica Móviles. Currently is the Head of Strategy and Alliances of the M2M Global Unit in Telefónica Group. His department is in charge of defining the strategy and the partnerships in M2M in the whole world. Before, he worked as Business Development Manager at Ericsson Spain and Product Manager of new means of Payment in the Spanish Confederation of Saving Banks.

Selen Kocabaş,

Selen Kocabaş joined Turkcell in 2003 and she is the Chief Corporate Business Unit Officer. Mrs. Kocabaş started her professional career as a Management Trainee at Koç Holding, Mrs. Kocabaş later worked as Human Resources Expert at Arçelik, then as a Human Resources Coordinator at Marshall for five years, followed by Danone Sa where she worked for four years as Human Resources Director and was responsible for founding the water and milk companies, establishing the proper structure and deploying optimum human resources.Selen Kocabaş is a graduate of Economics from Istanbul University. She also obtained a master's degree in Human Resources Management from Marmara University.

Prior to this assignment, the French professional worked as Indirect Channel Sales Director EMEA for WAVECOM. Based on its success in Europe, Telit aims to strengthen its m2m commitment in the US and Asia. Mr. Marchal will be responsible for establishing, adapting and expanding the relevant organisational processes and structures. This staffing coup further demonstrates Telit's growth plans as well as its role as challenger in the M2M market as Telit targets market leadership in the most important vertical m2m segments..

Chris Gobby,

Chris Gobby is Head of mData for New Business at EE. In this role, Chris is responsible for helping organisations to derive better decisions from big data, making use of EE's rich mobile data (mData) to produce new innovation from data analytics and market research. Within EE, his day to day work encompasses new product development, the construction of corporate strategic initiatives, shaping and evolving the mData proposition and, of course, some serious number crunching. Chris' background is in customer relationship management. Before taking on his current role, he was tasked with overseeing Orange's return on investment for the consumer 'Pay Monthly' portfolio, which involved (amongst other things) optimising all direct marketing channels, such as SMS, direct mail, bills and more.Chris has a Master's degree in Physics and a PhD in Quantum Physics from the Universities of Surrey and Cambridge respectively. He has been with EE (and formerly Orange) for five years.

Bertrand Solomon,

Bertrand leads the design of Transatel MVNE platform and the Product Development roadmap. Bertrand also manages the business development activities with Mobile Operators and the delivery of customised solutions for Transatel MVNO customers.Previously, Bertrand worked for Bouygues Telecom France, as Manager for New Products & Services and as Director of the Mobile Internet activity. Before that, Bertrand worked for Sagem France, in technical development and project management. Laetitia is committed to support mobile network operator, M2M actors, service providers in leveraging the full potential of M2M (Machine to Machine) and its related services.Laetitia joined Gemplus Banking and Loyalty division in 1996. Since 2001, she is focusing on mobile telecommunication, where she held various marketing positions including Product management for smart cards and related services. His experience includes serving as General Manager for Microcell, the Canadian GSM mobile operator, where he launched the first 2.5G GPRS network in North America and Senior Vice President of Wavetek Wandel Goltermann, a leading test systems developer, based in North Carolina. Under his leadership, as President, International, Gandalf Technologies became the worldwide #1 supplier of LAN access products to the internet access market. Alex has extensive experience in wireless, enterprise and fixed line services and sits on the Advisory Board of a number of technology companies in the USA and Canada.

Dr.Jeff Smith,

Chief Innovation & Technology Officer Dr. Smith has been an Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Company since October 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ublip, Inc., a provider of M2M and location based services that he co-founded in 2007. From January 2002 until June 2007, Dr. Smith served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SensorLogic, Inc., an M2M application service provider that he also founded. From June 1996 until January 2000, Dr. Smith served as regional President and director of NTT/Verio, an internet service provider and web hosting company. From October 1993 until January 1997, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of OnRamp Technologies, an internet service provider that he co-founded.

Gerry Reilly,

Gerry Reilly is the Development Director and Chief Technology Officer for IBM's Messaging group. He is responsible for the engineering strategy for IBM's messaging portfolio spanning traditional on-premise Enterprise Messaging such as IBM WebSphere MQ, Application Messaging in the Cloud and for IBM's Internet of Things Cloud platform. Since joining IBM in 1999, Gerry has held leadership roles across IBM's Connectivity and Integration business. In addition to his role in IBM, Gerry is a Visiting Professor in School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London. Prior to joining IBM, Gerry held management and technical positions with Digitial Equipment Corporation, Stewart Hughes Limited and Sony Broadcast and Communications.

Miguel Blockstrand,

He has more than 20 years’ experience in telecoms and is currently responsible for the connected devices portfolio offering within Business Unit Networks. Most recently, he has been responsible for the Mobile TV and IPTV network infrastructure portfolios within Ericsson. Prior to his engagements in the TV area, he held several senior management positions within R&D, Marketing and Business Development. He was involved in the first deployments of GSM, the Japanese PDC mobile system and WCDMA. He holds a M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.

Lionel Lamy,

Lionel Lamy is associate vice president in IDC's European Software and Services Group. In this role, he is responsible for two research programs focusing on the workplace and network life cycle services segments. Specific areas of research include IT infrastructure transformation, cloud, client and network virtualization, software defined networking solutions, and managed services, as well as consulting, integration, and support services. The impact of mobility and consumerization also fall within Lamy's broad services remit, both on the network and the workplace side. Furthermore, over the years, Lamy has been involved in research on datacenter and security services as well as service level management issues. He is a frequent and recognized presenter at conferences and customer events, and is heavily involved in delivering consulting to vendors as well as the end-user community. Prior to joining IDC in 1999, Lamy spent four years with Fujitsu Services as desktop service development manager — developing standard services. Prior to that, Lamy was a market research and European business planning manager in the outsourcing division of Fujitsu. He has a degree in marketing and international business from Angers Business School in France.

Steve Priestley,

Steve comes to Wyless with a long career in sales leadership in both the Wireless and IT industries, most recently as the VP of Global Enterprise Sales for Enfora, now part of Novatel Wireless. Earlier in his career, Steve was at Cisco Systems where he was the VP of Alternative Telecoms Providers in EMEA for 8 years before joining Symbol Technologies as VP and General Manager for Europe. During his tenure at Enfora, Steve was responsible for opening up the European distribution market for Enfora's modem business, and successfully building the European channel into a major part of Enfora's business. With a strong background in both the hardware and services markets, Steve has exceptional knowledge of the M2M industry and also shares the Wyless vision of providing end-to-end solutions to our customers and partners.

Bernd Gross,


Bernd is the CEO of Cumulocity - the M2M spin off of Nokia Siemens Networks. He is one of the co-founders of Cumulocity and was previously responsible for the Machine-to-Machine Business at Nokia Siemens Networks. In this role Bernd and his team created one of the leading cloud based software platforms for M2M solutions which was launched by Nokia Siemens Networks under the name Cumulocity. Previously he also successfully incubated the Machine-to-Machine innovation program out of Silicon Valley, California as part of the Nokia Siemens Networks business venturing activities. Prior to Machine-to-Machine activities Bernd held various senior management positions in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Program Management. He is a globally oriented executive with 20 years of work experience in Germany, Finland, UK and US (Silicon Valley). Bernd holds a master degree in Information & Communication Technology and an Executive MBA from the London Business School.

Matt Hatton,

Yuval Mayron is the General Manager of Amdocs MVNO/M2M Unit. Yuval brings over 20 years of extensive telecommunications industry experience. In 2000 Yuval founded SigValue Technologies that was acquired by Amdocs in 2007.In Amdocs Yuval is responsible for the development of next generation wholesale MVNE/O and M2M line of business. Prior to co-founding SigValue, he held a number of senior positions at Communication Service Providers.

Patrick Waters have built-up extensive expertise in mobile telecommunications from applied research into civil and military communications over 25 years. He has a broad system engineering view including experience from radio communications equipment design, digital signal processing and smartcard technologies, and has developed expertise in more recent years on the application of mobile communications. A recognized industry expert on Near Field Communications, he brings expertise on the emerging technologies and business opportunities in identity, mobile commerce, Subscriber Identity Modules (the smartcard in the phone) and on Machine-to-Machine (where distributed devices communicate without human intervention).

Prior to that, he spent more than 4 years in the Middle East and Africa where he established a telecom business for Logica in the region. From 1999 to 2007 Mr. Mohseninia was responsible for the OSS business of Logica, where he successfully transformed the business into a global business and established Logica as a leading supplier of OSS solutions globally. Mr. Mohseninia holds a Ph.D. in numerical computations from the university of Hertfordshire in the UK.
Robin Duke-Woolley,

Beecham Research is based in Cambridge UK, with offices in London and Boston MA, and specializes in the development of the rapidly-growing M2M/IOT market worldwide. Robin has over 35 years experience in the telecom/IT industry. Firstly in commercial roles covering Marketing Management, Sales Management and General Management in international technology vendor companies including General Electric Company, STC/Nortel and in start-ups. Secondly in market analysis/consulting roles, including as a Director of Research at Dataquest/Gartner and as an independent consultant. He has been researching the M2M/IOT market for over a decade, since 2001, and is an internationally recognized thought leader in this area.
